What goes into a office partitions project.

Glass partitions let an office read as open and bright while still separating rooms — daylight reaches the interior, the floor plan feels larger, and meeting rooms stay acoustically defined without going dark. This is commercial-scale work, and it spans several systems. Framed partitions surround the glass in aluminium, which is forgiving of site conditions, easy to integrate with doors, and finished to match the space. Frameless systems minimise visible metal for a nearly seamless glass wall, usually in thicker tempered glass with more precise installation. Privacy is added room by room — acid-etched or frosted glass, applied film that can carry branding, eye-level manifestation bands, or switchable electric-privacy glass that turns opaque on demand. Where code calls for it, we supply certified fire-rated assemblies, which are a different, specialised product that has to be identified early in the build. Glass is clear, low-iron or tinted tempered, in ⅜″ or ½″ depending on span and system, with polished exposed edges. Partitions touch nearly every other trade — floors, ceilings, doors, access control, and electrical for switchable glass — so the cleanest installs come from bringing us in while the layout is still on paper. We fabricate at the Carrollton shop and coordinate directly with the GC or build-out team, delivering on the construction schedule.
