How long does it take to install a custom frameless shower in Texas?
Most residential frameless shower projects take 7–14 business days from the day we measure. We dedicate the first 24 hours to producing the technical drawing, 5–10 days to fabrication and tempering at our Carrollton facility, and one day to install. Tempered glass cannot be modified after the kiln, so we triple-check measurements before fabrication starts.

Are tempered glass shower doors actually safe?
Yes — tempered glass is roughly four times stronger than annealed glass, and when it does break (under impact greater than ~10,000 PSI), it crumbles into small pebble-shaped pieces rather than long shards. All of our shower doors meet ANSI Z97.1 and 16 CFR 1201 Cat. II safety standards, which are mandatory for any glass within 60 inches of a tub or shower in the United States.

What thickness of glass do you use for frameless showers?
Our standard for frameless shower enclosures is ⅜″ (10mm) tempered glass — the most common spec in residential installations because it balances clarity, weight, and hardware compatibility. We also offer ½″ (12mm) for taller panels, larger spans, or when the client wants the heavier visual presence. Thinner glass (¼″) is reserved for tub-shower combinations and fixed splash panels.

Do you offer a warranty on the glass and installation?
Every project is covered by a written warranty: lifetime on the tempered glass against manufacturing defects, 5 years on the hardware (hinges, clips, handles), and 1 year on the labor of installation. We are local — based in Carrollton — so if anything ever needs attention, we are the ones who answer the phone and come back.

Do you serve customers outside of Carrollton, TX?
Yes. Our home base is Carrollton, but we routinely cover the entire DFW Metroplex (Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Fort Worth, Irving, Richardson, Addison, Lewisville, McKinney) and travel to other parts of Texas for larger commercial projects. For projects outside DFW, contact us with your zip code and we'll confirm coverage and any travel surcharge.

[ 06 ]
Can you replace a window without replacing the entire frame?
In most cases, yes. If the existing frame is structurally sound and code-compliant, we can do a glass-only replacement — the new pane is set in the existing frame with fresh glazing seal. If the frame is rotted, racked, or non-compliant, the entire window unit needs to be replaced. We confirm during the free site visit.

What is a 'neo-angle' shower?
A neo-angle is a custom-shaped shower base that fits a corner, typically with three glass panels meeting at non-90° angles. They are common in tight bathrooms where a square or rectangular base wouldn't fit. Every neo-angle is one-off — we measure on site and fabricate the panels to your exact angles, including sloped ceilings.

Do you do commercial glass work — office partitions, storefronts, wine rooms?
Yes. Roughly a third of our work is commercial: office partitions, conference enclosures, storefront systems, and climate-rated wine cellar walls. We coordinate directly with the GC, the architect, and the millwork team. Fire-rated and structurally engineered configurations are available when required.

Do you offer financing for larger projects?
We don't carry our own financing program, but most of our larger residential projects ($8k+) qualify for third-party home-improvement financing through providers like GreenSky and Hearth. We can put you in touch with their representatives during the quote conversation.

How do I get a quote?
Three options: (1) call us directly at +1 (972) 585-0388 — fastest, (2) send a sketch or photo through the contact form on this site — we typically reply within 24 hours, or (3) book a free site measurement at no cost or obligation. We always quote in writing before fabrication begins.
