[ About neo-angle ]
What goes into a neo-angle project.
A neo-angle shower is the answer to an awkward footprint: a five-sided stall tucked into a corner, its front face made of two glass panels meeting a door at an obtuse angle rather than a square 90°. No two are alike, which is exactly why they can't be ordered from a catalogue. Every neo-angle we build is measured on site and fabricated one-off, with the panel angles, notches and hinge geometry cut to the specific base and the specific corner. The same holds for sloped and vaulted ceilings, where the top edge of the glass has to be raked to follow the roofline — a cut that only works when it's taken from the real opening. Glass is ⅜″ or ½″ tempered; clear keeps a small stall feeling open, while Starphire low-iron is worth the upgrade when the tile is light and the angles would otherwise show a green edge at every seam. Hardware is stainless standard, with the header brace sized to keep the door rigid across the diagonal span. For homeowners the buying considerations are ceiling height, how the door swings into a tight corner, and whether the base was set true. We fabricate these bespoke enclosures at the Carrollton shop and install them across Dallas, Fort Worth and Denton, where older homes and irregular additions produce more than their share of odd angles.
